"Art That Feeds" Goes Online!

Conscious Alliance has some big news for the spring of 2009. We have officially taken our "Art that feeds" campaign online and are now offering the majority of the posters that we've created since 2002 as membership gifts. As you know, the Food Drives that are hosted at concerts and music festivals across the United States have an official event/rock art poster incentive to all participants that make food or monetary donations. These posters are now available as gifts to supporters who make online donations through www.consciousalliance.org Placing a donation through the website makes you an official member of the Conscious Alliance and directly supports our continued efforts to feed America's hungry.

With America's food banks experiencing an all time inventory low and non-profit organizations facing the perils of the recent economic downturn, there has never been a better time for supporters of the Conscious Alliance to make donations and help achieve our membership drive goal of bringing on 5,000 new official members to the Conscious Alliance.

Please tell friends, poster collectors, and everyone you know who has supported the Conscious Alliance food drives and mission over the last six years. Last year the ROTHBURY poster, created by Jeff Wood of Drowning Creek Studios, won the 8th Annual Independent Music Awards for "Poster of the Year." This limited-edition print and many other posters in the online gallery exist in very limited quantities, so don't miss out on your chance to get the official event posters you may have missed out on at concert and music festival food drives.

On-line auction for tickets to The String Cheese Incident’s “Private Sound check” on June 24th , at the Ogden Theatre in Denver!!!

We are extremely grateful in announcing that The String Cheese Incident has donated a handful of invites to their upcoming “Private Sound check”. The Ebay Auctions go live today, June 11th, so don’t miss out on your opportunity to support Conscious Alliance in a time when we need it most. Funds generated from the auction will be directed towards the delivery of 40,000 lbs. of natural food products, donated by Whole Foods Market, to Indian Reservations in our distribution network. Critical Food Shortages at Food Banks Nationwide

As more and more news agencies across the country cover the rapidly declining food supplies at our nation's food bank, the severity of the issue is becoming very apparent. Many food banks are returning to food drives to offset shortages. The shortages are the worst in Feeding America's (formally known as America’s Second Harvest) 26 years of operation. As donations and federal funding decrease and demand increases, many agencies have to turn people away or even close their doors. Many states are reporting record high food stamp numbers.
