I recently transfered to UMASS Lowell as a sophmore in the Registerd
Nursing Program.
I earned an Associates degree in Liberal Arts from Mass Bay, where
I recieved a community service award for an "outstanding contribution
to the community"f rom the M.O.V.E Club
I work in a hospital, where I am currently introducing art projects as community service incentives to raise awareness to hunger and Katrina survivors.
My goal is to form a Conscious Alliance within the UML's community so we can learn how to build a sustainable future.
I love the C.A because they are a kind organization with a noble cause. I have personally been inspired by the culture, and want to help perserve it any way I can.
One of the reasons I started this club, is when I was in high school, I attended a Native American art class called Art Quest, lead by a Shaman. This was such an amazing experience that I wanted to find a way to carry it on. We plan to hold community art workshops at the Revolving Museum In Lowell to hold muti-cultural art activities that benefit the C.A.
I have never been so certain that our generation has the power to make a better tomorrow right now. This became clear in 2008 when I toured with Head Count as a tour leader for O.A.R.
