Big Gigantic and Conscious Alliance are excited to announce we will be teaming up once again to host an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive at the band’s upcoming Rowdytown II event at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 28, 2013. We will be partnering with artist Jose Garcia to create a limited-edition 18 in x 24 in screen print poster  for this event, which will be FREE to all patrons who donate 20 non-perishable food items to the Food Drive! All food donations will be collected at the Trading Post where Conscious Alliance volunteers will trade poster redemption vouchers for your non-perishable donations. Posters can be redeemed at the Conscious Alliance booth at the top of the venue anytime during or after the show. Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. ORGANIC food donations are especially encouraged. Ramen noodles will NOT be accepted for a free poster. **We will also be collecting food and monetary donations as well as new or lightly used clothing, cleaning and household items for those affected by the recent Colorado flood disaster. At this time, pasta meals & canned meats are the items most requested food items - organic options are always encouraged. The most requested personal & household items are toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Most Needed Items for an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive: canned soups & stews, pasta, tomatoes & tomato sauce, rice, canned fruits & vegetables, tuna, oatmeal, whole grain/low sugar cereal, peanut butter, beans, baby food.
