(Sept. 22, 2016) – Foodies and music-lovers alike will unite behind local nonprofit Conscious Alliance on Oct. 23 at eTown Music Hall in Boulder for the 3rd Annual ‘Art That Feeds’ Harvest Celebration. The evening will feature music from The Dimmer Twins (Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley of the Drive-By Truckers) plus cuisine prepared by Boulder’s finest chefs, led by Chef Hosea Rosenberg of Blackbelly._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ Between April and September, Conscious Alliance provided 60,103 meals out of its 100,000-meal goal for the summer, raised through Art That Feeds Food Drives at 29 concerts and festivals across the country. Funds raised from the Harvest Celebration will go toward providing 10,000 meals to families on Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota this harvest season. Pine Ridge is one of the nation’s most economically isolated communities, with 91 percent of the population living below the federal poverty line and one grocery store for an area roughly the size of Connecticut. Conscious Alliance currently operates the only food bank on Pine Ridge and has been working with the reservation since 2002._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ “For the third year, we are thrilled to partner with celebrated musicians and several of Boulder’s best chefs to bring intimate live music and delicious food to our supporters,” said Justin Levy, executive director of Conscious Alliance. “Through this night of music, art and action, we are hoping to raise 10,000 meals for families in need, while creating awareness and action around our volunteer and youth empowerment programs on economically isolated Native American reservations and across the country.”_x000D_ _x000D_ Where: eTown Music Hall (1535 Spruce St., Boulder CO 80302)_x000D_ When: Sunday, October 23, 6 – 9:30 p.m._x000D_ What: Led by Chef Hosea Rosenberg of Blackbelly, guests will enjoy cuisine prepared by some of Boulder’s finest chefs, hailing from the following restaurants:_x000D_- _x000D_
