March 'Bring Nutrition Home' Update
As the end of March approaches we are looking back on the big month that our organization and our Backpack Pilot Program has had and look forward to the growth that the coming months will bring. In the last week of March a Conscious Alliance staff member returned to Isna Wica Owayawa (Loneman School) to deliver food for the ‘Bring Nutrition Home’ Backpack Pilot Program and to meet with the 7th and 8th grade classes to discuss how the program was going and how we could work together to improve the effectiveness of the program._x000D_

Thanks to our partners, Justin’s, Plum Organics and Suja Juice’s support at Expo West, a natural foods convention in Anaheim, California, we were able to gain more partnerships to strengthen our all-natural Backpack Pilot Program. We are now excited to announce the support of KIND who will be providing us with nutritious protein bars and BOOMCHICKAPOP who’s support will provide students with healthy popcorn snack and corn seeds so that students at Loneman School may grow their own corn for popcorn._x000D_

We are looking forward to another great month of partnership with Isna Wica Owayawa (Loneman School) to ‘Bring Nutrition Home’ to students on the weekends when young people who depend on school meals often go without food. A big thank you to all of our current sponsors of the Backpack Pilot Program; Justin’s, Suja Juice, Plum Organics, Polar Bottle, KIND, and BOOMCHICKAPOP. Moving forward we are still seeking natural food partners to increase the amount and diversity of products we are providing to 230 students every week._x000D_
