Northwest String Summit and Conscious Alliance are teaming up to host an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive at this year’s festival at Horning’s Hideout on Aug 9-12, 2012. All patrons who donate 10 non-perishable food items will receive a FREE limited-edition Horning’s Hideout poster created by B.J. Cochran! All food donations will benefit the Oregon Food Bank in Portland. Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. ORGANIC food donations are especially encouraged. Ramen noodles will NOT be accepted for a free poster. Most Needed Items for an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive: canned soups & stews, pasta, tomatoes & tomato sauce, rice, canned fruits & vegetables, tuna, oatmeal, whole grain/low sugar cereal, peanut butter, beans, baby food. Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere music plays!
