STS9 Asheville
STS9 and Conscious Alliance are proud to announce we will be hosting an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive at the band’s upcoming shows at The Orange Peel in Asheville, North Carolina on March 23rd & 24th.
Rhett Johnson will be creating a two-panel poster set for this special two-night event, which will be FREE to all patrons who donate 20 non-perishable food items to the Food Drive! Monetary donations will also be accepted for the set.
2012 marked the 10th anniversary of the partnership between STS9 and Conscious Alliance that began in 2002 and today is stronger than ever!
How To Donate:
Donation bins will be located outside the venue, where Food Drive volunteers will exchange poster redemption vouchers for donations. Posters can be redeemed anytime during or after the show at the Conscious Alliance table, located inside the venue. All food donations will benefit the Conscious Alliance emergency food pantry on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. ORGANIC food donations are especially encouraged. Ramen noodles will NOT be accepted for a free poster.
Most Needed Items for an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive: canned soups & stews, pasta, tomatoes & tomato sauce, rice, canned fruits & vegetables, tuna, oatmeal, whole grain/low sugar cereal, peanut butter, beans, baby food.
Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere music plays!
