The String Cheese Incident – Red Rocks
The String Cheese Incident and Conscious Alliance are teaming up to host an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive at the band’s upcoming shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 5-7, 2012. All food donations will benefit the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
Artist Robert Marx is creating a limited-edition screen print poster for this event. The poster will be available to all patrons who donate 20 non-perishable food items to the Food Drive. Monetary donations will also be accepted for the poster.
How to Donate: All food donations will be collected at the Trading Post where Conscious Alliance volunteers will trade poster redemption vouchers for your non-perishable donations. Posters can be redeemed at the Conscious Alliance booth at the top of the venue anytime during or after the show.
Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. ORGANIC food donations are especially encouraged. Ramen noodles will NOT be accepted for a free poster.
Most Needed Items for an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive: canned soups & stews, pasta, tomatoes & tomato sauce, rice, canned fruits & vegetables, tuna, oatmeal, whole grain/low sugar cereal, peanut butter, beans, baby food.
Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere music plays!
