Johnny Alamo and Lauren Hillsburg Join Conscious Alliance Board of Directors

Broomfield, CO – April 9, 2024 – Conscious Alliance, the national hunger relief non-profit that taps into the power of  art, music, and community to solve food insecurity, is proud to announce that Johnny Alamo and Lauren Hillsburg have joined its Board of Directors. With their diverse backgrounds and shared passion for philanthropy, Alamo and Hillsburg bring invaluable expertise to the organization's mission of fighting hunger and empowering communities.

Johnny Alamo, CEO at Johnny Alamo Entertainment and former Head of Partnerships at Activist Artists Management, is a devoted father and seasoned professional with a background in brand partnerships development. He brings a wealth of expertise to the board – and he’s already initiated Conscious Alliance’s partnerships with the Denver Nuggets, Toyota, Liquid Death, Gibson Guitar, and World Emoji Day.

"The creativity that comes out of Conscious Alliance is truly inspiring," said Alamo. "I'm excited to collaborate with other board members and leverage my relationships within sports and the entertainment industry to broaden Conscious Alliance's strategic alliances. Additionally, I'm eager to explore opportunities for documentary filmmaking to raise awareness and support for the organization."

Lauren Hillsburg, Director of Sales at illy caffè - North America, inc., and known for her dedication to wellness and her extensive experience in the food industry, joins the Conscious Alliance board with a deep commitment to making a difference. Prior to her role at illy caffè, Hillsburg led sales at Simple Mills and Hormel. She has already initiated partnerships between Conscious Alliance and Simple Mills and illy caffè after being connected to the organization through her work with Justin’s Nut Butter.

"What excites me most about being on this board is that I get to be with a team of people who share a common goal of working to bring more food to more people who need it," said Hillsburg. "I believe my network within the food industry space will be beneficial for Conscious Alliance in educating more companies about what Conscious Alliance is and what Conscious Alliance does."
