11TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY MEAL DELIVERY

_x000D_ Conscious Alliance is proud to be hosting our 11th Annual Holiday Meal Delivery this Thanksgiving season! Taking place this November 20th-23rd, our goal is to distribute over 10,000 meals to local families in need in the Greater Denver area, as well as the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota and the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana, which are among the poorest communities in the United States._x000D_ _x000D_ Many people are unaware of the conditions on these reservations. 91% of the population in Pine Ridge lives below the federal poverty line, primarily due to extreme economic isolation. Food insecurity is rampant and many suffer from malnutrition leading to high rates of heart disease, diabetes and infant mortality. The climate is extreme in this region of the country, with regular winter blizzards and temperatures annually falling to -20°F or lower. In the winter, people make a very real choice between buying food and buying fuel to heat their homes._x000D_ _x000D_ Through your donation, there is an incredible opportunity to help bring food and nourishment to some of the most impoverished communities in our nation this holiday season!_x000D_
