Buffalo Heart Concert with Elephant Revival
Elephant Revival and Conscious Alliance are pleased to announce they will be presenting The Buffalo Heart Concert at the Boulder Theater on April 30th. Elephant Revival will be joined by the Plenty Wolf Singers, The Dovekins & John Oates, as well as very special guests Tao Rodriguez Seeger and Nat Keefe of Hot Buttered Rum.
The concert will be a benefit for the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, one of the most economically isolated communities in the country. The funds will be directed toward the ongoing mission of keeping the Conscious Alliance emergency food storage facility stocked on Pine Ridge, as well as funding Lakota Youth Programs in the summer that will focus on the preservation of Lakota tradition.
Conscious Alliance will be hosting an Art That Feeds Food Drive at this event. All concertgoers who donate 10 non-perishable food items will receive a FREE limited-edition event poster by artist Lori Salisbury!
Donation bins will be located outside the main entrance of the Boulder Theater, where Conscious Alliance volunteers will trade poster redemption vouchers for your non-perishable donations. Posters can be redeemed at the Conscious Alliance table inside the venue anytime during or after the show.
Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. “Organic” food donations are especially encouraged. RAMEN NOODLES will NOT be accepted for the free poster.
Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere the music plays!
