Why stop¬†by Participation Row?
We will be hosting an 'Art That Feeds' Food Drive beginning at 1:00 PM each day. There will be two food collection stations set up outside of the venue. We are asking that patrons please bring 20 non-perishable food items.¬†Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. ORGANIC food donations are especially encouraged.¬†RAMEN NOODLES AND EXPIRED FOOD ITEMS¬†will NOT be accepted.
Limited Edition Postcards: ¬†
Each non-profit will be giving away a limited-edition postcard created by longtime Grateful Dead Poster artist, if you join each non-profit in a specific "action" you can¬†collect all 16 unique postcards!
Exclusive Silent Auction: ¬†
Item One: A custom, commemorative D‚ÄôAngelico guitar signed by all the band members
Item Two: A signed Fare Thee Well poster.
These are the only Fare Thee Well ¬†items the band has agreed to sign, creating two truly historical collectibles. Proceeds will be split evenly among the non-profits.
To celebrate this incredible 50 years of giving, members of the Grateful Dead have invited 16 non-profits to form a ‚ÄúParticipation Row‚Äù area at the upcoming anniversary concerts in Santa Clara, CA and Chicago, IL. Conscious Alliance was selected to be one of the 16 non-profits incited to these VERY exciting shows!
This Participation Row will offer fans an opportunity to interact with the organizations that have formed such an important part of the Grateful Dead community for so many years.
Other non-profits that will be joining¬†in¬†Participation Row will be longtime Grateful Dead-affiliated charities The Rex Foundation

and The Rainforest Action Network
, the Owsley Stanley Foundation

. Band members made special requests to have a few other non-profits on hand, namely NORML
and the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies

Participation Row will facilitate important dialog about the future of our society. But there‚Äôll also be plenty of fun. Each non-profit will give away special Fare Thee Well limited edition postcards at their tables, designed by longtime Grateful Dead poster artists. In order to get a postcard, you‚Äôll¬†just need to take an ‚Äúaction‚Äù selected by the non-profit, creating true engagement between organization and citizen.
