The String Cheese Incident and Conscious Alliance are proud to announce that we will be teaming up at International Incident in Mexico,  February 19th-23rd,  2014!

Conscious Alliance has revealed its International Incident Service Project details!

_x000D_ We‚Äôre currently recruiting 15 attendees to participate on Thursday, February 20 from 1:30PM ‚Äì 4:30PM for a Service Project to support the Hekab Be Biblioteca of Akumal._x000D_ _x000D_ The most important thing the Hekab Be Biblioteca of Akumal provides for the community is an active after school program for the local children. Their goal is to keep the children engaged and excited about learning so they will stay in school and have the opportunity for whatever future they wish to pursue._x000D_ _x000D_ As the village of Akumal grows and more tourists come to the area, the urban sprawl has reached their little library that sits on a prime piece of land on the road into Akumal. The Library needs to relocate their beloved ‚Äúcancha‚Äù or sports field, where the children practice and play basketball, soccer, and other activities._x000D_ _x000D_ You can help! The back area of Hekab Be Biblitoteca‚Äôs land is overgrown with weeds and trees, and is gathering rainwater. Join us to help clear the land, build it up to appropriate level, fill it in with material, and relocate the basketball court to make it an adequate play space for the children._x000D_ _x000D_ Sign up now by emailing¬†Support@consciousalliance.org.¬†We can accommodate 15 volunteers ‚Äì first come, first serve._x000D_ _x000D_ DETAILS:_x000D_ _x000D_ Meet at 1:00pm at the Hacienda Lobby-- Vans will be leaving PROMPTLY at 1:3opm from the Hard Rock Hotel to go to Akumal, Mexico-- the drive is only 15-20 minutes away!_x000D_ _x000D_ Wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes.¬†We will provide light snacks and water for all who volunteer!¬†_x000D_ _x000D_  _x000D_ _x000D_  _x000D_
