STS9 NYC FOOD DRIVE WILL BENEFIT HURRICANE SANDY RELIEF EFFORTS
Conscious Alliance is joining
STS9 to host an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive at their two shows at the Best Buy Theater in NYC tonight and tomorrow, November 2nd & 3rd. This is a critical time for New Yorkers, many of whom have been without food and power for the past few days since Hurricane Sandy left parts of the city devastated. Disaster relief efforts are imperative right now. Please remember to bring your
20 non-perishable food items to the shows this weekend to benefit people affected by the storm!

All food donations collected at the shows will be donated to City Harvest, a NYC food bank that is working to bring much needed food to the areas hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy. Natural disasters have a disproportionate effect on people with little or no savings, those least able to bounce back. People who suffer from lost income or property due to the storm will have difficulty affording food afterward. Agencies that feed hungry New Yorkers have been stretched thin by the growing demand for emergency food, making food donations essential at this time.
The STS9 community has been extremely generous at all the recent shows this fall, and everyone who has donated deserves a huge THANK YOU!  Let’s end this tour with a bang and make the NYC Food Drive the biggest one yet! You will be helping out those in need in the NYC area, and getting an amazing poster created by
