The Travelin’ McCourys ft. Keller Williams
The Travelin’ McCourys featuring Keller Williams and Conscious Alliance are happy to announce they will be teaming up to host an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive during the band’s Colorado run this April. Conscious Alliance has created a poster for these shows, which will be available to all patrons who donate 10 non-perishable food items or a suggested monetary donation to the Food Drive.
‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drives will be held at the following shows:
Thurs. April 12 – Aggie Theatre – Fort Collins, CO
Fri. April 13 – Boulder Theater – Boulder, CO
Sat. April 14 – Ogden Theatre – Denver, CO
Donation bins will be located outside the main entrance of each venue where Conscious Alliance volunteers will trade poster redemption vouchers for your non-perishable donations. Posters can be redeemed at the Conscious Alliance table inside the venue anytime during or after the show.
Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. ORGANIC food donations are especially encouraged. RAMEN NOODLES will NOT be accepted for the free poster.
Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere the music plays!
From March 1st to April 30th, 2012, Conscious Alliance is participating in the Feinstein Challenge $1 Million Giveaway to Fight Hunger. The Feinstein Foundation will match any monetary donations, food items, or pledges donated to Conscious Alliance in regards to the Challenge – and $1 million will be divided among hunger-relief agencies nationally!
The more you donate to Conscious Alliance in March and April (both monetary and food items), the more of the $1 million we’ll get – all thanks to you!
